Today, we recognize Board President, Stephen Delaney of Zone 1. His superpower is Invisibility because he believes a school board member should never be the Main Character. Students, parents, and staff should be put first. #serveall #pcssdproud

Here's an important reminder on this 3rd day of School Choice Week, transportation is NOT provided for School Choice students by the District. There are rare situations when transportation is provided, refer to this page: https://trst.in/ieECQW. #pcssdproud #serveall

Thank you! SHHS would like to extend a huge thank you to the Sophisticated Gentlemen Incorporated. Founded in 2008 with the pillars of Chivalry, Scholarships, and Service, this nonprofit organization started the year off with their nation-wide initiative to help support clothing closets at local schools near each chapter. Since clothing closets generally lack male presenting clothing for youth in need, the Knights, lend a hand through service.
This week, local chapters of Alpha and Chi Alpha donated male suits, slacks, ties, button-ups and more to our clothing closet. Any student or family in need can always reach out to our counseling department to visit our clothing closet.

It's School Choice Week! Each day, we'll share info to help families navigate the many educational options. School Choice is an option for families who do not live within a school zone but wish to attend that district's schools. https://trst.in/SN8msv #pcssdproud #serveall

Life and Fitness students in Ms. Cummings' classes participated in a Salsa and Chip Lab. They made salsa from scratch and used the air fryer to make chips out of tortilla shells. Everyone loved the salsa. The chips were devoured as soon as they were made.

Who says math can't be fun!? Students are doing translations in math this week with manipulatives to help learn the process.
