The Student Board Member for December comes from Sylvan Hills High School.
Landon Williams currently serves as the vice president of the Student Council, where he has had the opportunity to help represent his classmates and support the student experience at Sylvan Hills.
He is also part of the DECA leadership team and stays involved in groups that give students a voice, including Student Voice, Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, Interact Rotary, and the Senior Executive Committee.
Outside of academics, he plays on both the baseball and tennis teams. This past year, he was also selected to attend Arkansas Boys State, which he says was very fun and something he will never forget.
After graduation, Williams plans to attend the University of Arkansas in and major in biology. His long-term goal is to become a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
